Well that doesn't sound right at all.

I've been trying to get more fruit and veg into my diet, to interrupt my steady intake of salt, sugar, saturated fats, cholesterol, and crunchy brown bits.

I've been doing okay with russets and pears (and bananas, but they are like potatoes and don't count to your five a month) so I tried some apples Tesco had on offer. They are huge. They looked big in the store, I admit, but now I have them home and try to eat they are massive. They are so big I cannot even finish one. They are about halfway between a tennis ball and a small lawn bowl in size. They taste nice, I admit, a little bland and watery perhaps, but not offensive in any way. Not as sharp as a russet or a cox, but fine. They are just too big.

They've finally bred an apple to big even for my big mouth.
